It’s all system go as we finalize our preparations to host 2016 Gotabgaa International Conference. We would like to take this earliest opportunity to welcome you in advance to Columbus, Ohio for our conference, cum vacation for some. The conference is set for June 30 to July 3, 2016. There are plenty of informative and fun stuff lined up for you, your family, your organization, and your business that you cannot afford to miss. Here is a sneak-peek of what you will experience when you come for the 2016 Gotabgaa International Conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHIFGhxc0Iw. You will equally have plenty of stories to tell and retell for many years to come. Please, take a moment and reflect on the following extract from Chinua Achebe’s Anthills of the Savanna even as you get ready for conference:
“The sounding of the battle drum is important; the fierce waging of the war itself is important; and the telling of the story afterwards – each is important in its own way. I tell you there is not one of them we could do without. But if you ask me which of them takes the eagle feather, I will say boldly; the story… So why do I say that the story is chief among his fellows? …Because it is only the story that can continue beyond the war and the warrior. It is the story that outlives the sound of the war drums and the exploits of brave warriors. It is the story, not the others, that saves our progeny from blundering like blind beggars into the spikes of the cactus fence. The story is our escort, without it we are blind.”
Come and be part of our story in its multiple facets – stories of how to unlock potential and harness opportunities in our midst; stories of our heritage and our future; stories of entrepreneurship and investment; and any other story you will love to tell as a result of the conference. We look forward to seeing you in Columbus, Ohio. Come One, Come All!!
